To my surprise my PC is apparently unable to update to Windows 11 according to the checker, but without explaining why. Microsoft recently updated the utility, which now can provide more information on why a PC is not compatible with Windows 11 and what the user can do with that.With the reveal of the specifications and requirements for Windows 11 today, I decided to use the Health Checker tool to be able to test if my machine can upgrade to Windows 11, especially after hearing that Windows 11 would require TPM 2.0 to be enabled to be used. While we wait for Microsoft to drop Windows 11, you can check your computer's compatibility with the newest OS using the official PC Health Check tool. The official Media Creation Tool will be available on the same day. Windows 11 will be available on October 5, 2021. This is helpful when you are updating a Windows Insider Preview release on unsupported hardware. You can download the project from its page on GitHub. We have already reviewed it as an option for fetching the desired Windows 10 version. MediaCreationTool.bat is an open-source project that downloads files directly from Microsoft's servers (no custom questionable ISOs involved) to update your current system, create bootable media or ready-for-use ISO files.
